Felm Globally

Felm (Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission) is an internationally active faith-based organization established in 1859 and one of the largest Finnish civil society organizations working in global development. Felm currently works in 24 countries in Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America, with over 100 local partner organizations.

Felm strives for a positive and permanent change, aiming to help build a world where everyone’s voice is heard. Felm's development cooperation is built on advancing human rights and addressing the root causes of marginalization and injustice.

In our work, we pay special attention to:

  • Resilience of vulnerable communities
  • Realization of the right to education for children and youth from marginalized groups
  • Realization of the human rights of persons with disabilities
